Hi! We’re Jacky & Sara — two great friends who love nothing more than getting outside, getting muddy, and having loads of fun!

Between us, we’ve spent over 50 years working with children in schools, Forest School sessions, and outdoor adventures — and we’ve got 5 brilliant kids of our own who keep us inspired every day!
With Jacky being a qualified Forest School Leader and Higher Level Teaching Assistant, and Sara a Primary School Teacher, we’ve seen first-hand how magical outdoor play can be.
We believe that the best memories are made outdoors — climbing trees, building dens, making fires, crafting with nature, and just letting imaginations run wild!

That’s why we’ve created Leafy Legends Forest School Parties—exciting, hands-on celebrations where children can explore, create, and have the time of their lives in the great outdoors. Whether it’s a birthday bash, a special get-together, or just an excuse to get muddy and have fun, we’ll make sure it’s packed full of adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Our Story
We first met working together in a busy Primary School, where we quickly bonded over a shared passion: getting kids outside, learning through play, and letting them experience the magic of nature. Between us, we bring a whole bundle of skills to every party.

We created Forest School Parties because we believe that every child deserves the chance to run wild, climb trees, build dens, and get properly muddy — to have the kind of adventures they'll remember forever.
​
Our parties are about more than just fun (although there’s LOTS of that!). They’re about confidence, creativity, teamwork, resilience — all the brilliant skills that grow when kids are free to explore and play in the natural world.

Whether it’s making fires, building woodland shelters, crafting nature art, or just laughing together around a campfire, we make sure every child feels proud, happy, and full of wonder.

No stiff, formal activities—just joy-filled experiences that spark curiosity and nurture each child holistically. You pick the activities from our exciting range of woodland games, creative crafts, and wild exploration—because we believe fun should never be forced. And if something isn’t working, we adapt on the fly to make sure every moment is engaging, exciting, and filled with laughter. Whether it’s a birthday party, a friendship gathering, or a wellbeing session, we create magical woodland memories where connection, creativity, and adventure take center stage!
